(see INGREDIENTS section for full list of ingredients).
Sunflower seeds – loaded with Vitamin E, which is important for pet’s coat and helps to prevent/remedy dryness of skin. Furthermore, sunflower seeds are anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and heart-healthy.
Pea protein & Whole Dried Peas – peas in general are an excellent source of carbohydrates, fibre, protein, and many essential vitamins and minerals. They provide most of the essential amino acids required by dogs and cats. Peas contain insoluble fibre, soluble fibre, and resistant starch which provides benefits for the digestive system.
Soybean Meal & Soybean Oil– high quality protein with complementary profile of amino acids and vitamins.
Tapioca – non-toxic and gluten free starch that binds ingredients in dry kibble – to make dry kibble you need an ingredient that binds other ingredients together, and tapioca is a good choice because it is non-toxic, gluten & lectin free.

Feed dry kibble as is, or mix with water to make moistened food (see ADD WATER section).
Kittens can be started on dry kibble as early as they begin to nibble at solid foods (usually 3-4 weeks of age). Until 6 months of age, they should be fed all of the moistened food they will consume at intervals throughout the day. If fed dry, the food may be kept out at all times.
We strongly recommend adding water to dry kibble to increase your pet’s hydration. To prepare moist food from dry kibble:
• Start by using a lower amount of dry food (than what is indicated above for your pet)
• Add water 1:1 ratio (1 part kibble to 1 part water)
• Let stand for 30-60 min
Note: Check and brush your pet’s teeth regularly.
FIRST TIME FEEDING INSTRUCTIONSIntroduce your pet to vegan pet food gradually.
Option 1. Start by adding Evolution Diet to the old product, to which your pet is already accustomed: 1 part Evolution Diet, 2 parts old product. Then increase the proportion of Evolution Diet until you have 100% Evolution Diet and none of the old product.
Option 2. Start by mixing 1 teaspoon of flaked nutritional yeast, margarine, or vegetable oil to each cup of Evolution Diet. Pets adapt to Evolution Diet with no added flavor after 1-2 weeks.
CAUTION: If the switch to vegan pet food is not done gradually, there is a small risk pets may vomit or get diarrhea for 2-3 days.
For picky pets add some nutritional yeast (sold separately). Sprinkling nutritional yeast makes the food taste cheesy, a flavour pets love. For 1 cup of dry kibble, sprinkle ¼ of a teaspoon of nutritional yeast.
